Damien Manivel

Born 1981 in Brest, France. After working as a contemporary dancer, studied film at the Le Fresnoy National Studio for Contemporary Art. She studied film at the Le Fresnoy National Studio for Contemporary Art. Her short film Woman with a Dog won the 2011 Prix Jean Vigo, and her fourth short film Sunday Morning won the Critics' Week Short Film Grand Prix at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival. His first feature film, The Young Poet, won the Locarno Film Festival's Special Grand Prize and was released theatrically in Japan in 2015. His second feature film, Park, was selected for the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. _JAP_ダミエン・マニベル。1981 年フランスのブレスト生まれ。コンテンポラリー・ダンサーとして活躍後、ル・フレノワ国立現代アー トスタジオにて映画を学ぶ。短編『犬を連れた女』は2011年ジャン・ヴィゴ賞を受賞、短編 4作目の『日曜日の朝』 は2012 年カンヌ国際映画祭の批評家週間短編大賞を受賞。初長編映画となる『若き詩人』はロカルノ映画祭 特別大賞を受賞、2015 年に日本でも劇場公開された。長編２作目の『パーク』は 2016 年カンヌ国際映画祭に選出された。
