Hai Anh Trieu

Hai Anh Trieu is a German-Vietnamese artist and filmmaker. As the child of Vietnamese contract workers, she grew up in Munich. At the intersection of film, art, and performance, she explores issues of identity and the social and political architecture of diverse family life forms. By pushing the boundaries of various media, she attempts to make the phenomenon of displacement in the diaspora visually and physically tangible. Her latest short film, I Loved You First, premiered in 2023 at the Max Ophüls Prize in Saarbrücken._JAP_ハイ・アン・チウ。ドイツ系ベトナム人のアーティスト、映画監督。ベトナム人契約労働者の子どもとしてミュンヘンで育つ。映画、アート、パフォーマンスの交差点で、アイデンティティの問題や、多様な家族形態の社会的・政治的構造を探求している。様々なメディアの境界を押し広げることで、ディアスポラにおける離散現象を視覚的、物理的に具体化しようと試みている。最新短編『I Loved You First』は、2023年にザールブリュッケンのマックス・オフィルス賞でプレミア上映された。
