秋月を散策し、田んぼと「電力」の奥深くに飛び込む。稲やソーラーパネルの列を通り過ぎると、親しみと未知の感覚が現れる。カエルの鳴き声に耳を傾けてみる。相互接続された通信システムが、根やケーブルをかけめぐる。田んぼと電柱はここでつながっている。自然＋テクノロジーが絡み合ったネットワーク。気がつけば、カニに突かれ、ナメクジにヌルヌルされているかもしれない。アナログ・グリッチ・ビデオ・プロセッサー、エレクトロ・シンセ・ミュージック、そしてiPhoneで制作された『Electric Rice Field』は、フィルムフェスト・アキヅキのために制作。
Stroll around Akizuki and dive deep into fields of rice and electricity. Feelings of familiarity and the unknown emerge as you pass rows of rice plants and solar panels. Take a moment to look closer and listen for a crunchy frog. Interconnected systems of communication run through roots and cables. Rice fields and telephone poles connect here. Nature + technology as one entangled network. You might find yourself getting poked by a crab and slimed by a slug. Produced with analog glitch video processors, electro-synth music, and an iPhone, Electric Rice Field is a new video produced for Filmfest Akizuki.
